Yup. Hopefully it's a learning experience.... First thing to do is NEVER buy (to hold) any stock that uses toxic death spiral convertibles.
Next is, do exhaustive DD. Don't ignore or gloss over red flags. Listen to what skeptics say, especially those of us with years of history at spotting smelly companies.

Last, never use the short card or listen to those who do. It's bunk.

If you must buy into an OTC, try to flip it, or at least take some profits in an attempt to ride free shares. Don't marry a stock.
