In his lifetime he faced far bigger problems than a Federal indictment which he could have stalled for years or maybe beat or at worst plead down to 5 years. Goes to a country club for 20 months of tennis etc. and free, maybe.

Wouldn't have been hard to find a wrecked 2013 Tahoe to push into that wall and after fire looks like crashed and burned there. And the local sheriff that writes up report closes the case. I doubt that anyone looks for one of many vin #s stamped on car frame or autopsys Aubrey to see when and how he died or if it was him. Not easy on someone looks like an oversized piece of toast. Fire covers up a lot of chit.

Kinda like that Ken Lay deal. Remember old Ken? The CEO from Enron that broke half the country in Enron scam. Also Bush main backer and Bush was in office. Lay was a billionaire convicted and waiting to be sentenced to a possible 165 years by a mad Federal judge. So he and the wife fly to rented house in Colorado, I think for some R & R. In home alone and the wife calls local sheriff and reports he died. Sherriff shows up, takes him to hospital, doctor pronounces him dead of a heart attack after autopsy. Next day wife flies out in their private jet with box Ken is supposed to be in and buries that box in Houston. And then lawyers file to vacate or nullify his case cause was under appeal and he could not continue defending so was granted I'm sure to creditors dismay. imo
