Trastuzumab, sold as Herceptin, is being used to treat HER2-positive breast cancer. (one sub-type) The article does not appear to be reporting anything new in that it can shrink the tumor.. One of the TPIV clinical trials will have patients treated with Trastuzumab (i.e. they still have cancer)

TPIV Her2neu treats a significantly larger patient population Up to 50% Vs 15-20% Herceptin

TPIV Her2neu Is designed to KILL Tumor Cells. Herceptin does NOT.
