Senate confirms Robert Califf for FDA Commissioner by 89-4 vote:

Since I didn’t think it was possible to get the Senate to vote 89-4 for anything—including less unanimity in choosing the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, the Deputy Director of HUD, and the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary—either Califf is a truly awesome fellow or they don’t think the FDA is very important.
