thanks sgolds. I was thinking about public perception of when recession ends. Same apply to the market. For example, many traders of Jan 2001 though that we were in the bull market, but in fact it was well into bear market, since Jan of 2000, but it was not clear until 12 months.

It may happen that we are 8 months in the bull market, unless we are not. Most worrying (or confusing) thing for me is bad employment data. Economy can't improve until corporations will start to hire, can it?

I don't mean this to be offtopic, this is directly related to semi stocks.
