This past September is a great illustration in "head fakes" and "baiting" to entice and then the pps got slammed for no good fundamental or technical reason.

Uh, the rise in Sept was in response to news about a BXLT bid. It could be stale and hollow, but it was news that the market responded to. I don't think that's a "head fake."

When you note that the price fell after that, it was, in fact, due to a good fundamental reason: that the BXLT would not happen and there weren't any other bidders looking to get in.

Not saying the share price isn't getting pushed around by traders, but I don't think your example supports your argument.
