Thanks for the candid statement of your position and beliefs.I am an investor in NWBO because I believe that dendritic cell technology is based on solid basic science that has recently(Carmi et al Nature 2015 and Spitzer etal Science 2015) received more validation.I also find the recent evidence for its EFFICACY and SAFETY in ERADICATING solid tumors cogent, at least in animal models.
In terms of its potential clinical applications to solid tumors in humans the 10 years of human data appears to suggest it is SAFER than checkpoint blockade or CART technology ,which can sometimes trigger cytokine "storms."We also have updated preliminary evidence(Munich 2015,Washington 2015) for its efficacy for GBM and other solid tumors.The potential of "stimulated" dendritic cells COMBINED with allogeneic IgG to ERADICATE all solid human tumors appears compelling, if the studies I cited above are replicated independently.
If the allegations against the company are cleared and they are able to get more funding to complete their clinical trials ,it appears that the manufacturing cost issue that hurt previous dendritic cell technology may be now resolved.For a laymans explication of this promising technology from the lips of Prof. Edgar Engleman himself,please go to Cafe Scientifique at Stanford Medical School .ed.I am a retired medical school professor who is dabbling in stocks.
