Doc logic re. post 53520,on the MECHANISM of DCVAX-Direct.
Please read the paper in Nature 2015 (Carmi, Edgar Engleman, etal 2015) and see if the methodology of DCVAX Direct is comparable to what Prof. Edgar Engleman lab calls "stimulated" dendritic cells in the Nature 2015 paper.

In any event the two recent papers (Carmietal Nature 2015 and Spitzer et al Science) establish that recent advances in the basic science of dendritic cell technology appears to exceed , the EFFICACY of checkpoint blockade,when COMBINED with the mechanism(antibodies) that rejects ALL allogenic tissues and organs in animals and man.The animal and patient studies ( 10 years) with dendritic cells provide ample of proof of the greater SAFETY of dendritic cell technology than checkpoint blockade or CART technology.
Unfortunately most clinicians are still innocent of the appreciation of the potential of this COMBINED technology to ERADICATE solid tumors in animals and man.
