Go Kite: I have to agree with barge here. We all know Infineon is finished?! Why make these statements? Why be so conservative and cautious with your opinions as of late as it relates to the obvious fact that Wave has locked up TPM management minimally at the device level? This game is over! I will remind you of the very same conservative attitude you have displayed this year concerning the consumer market. Looks to me like Intel has completely transformed their marketing strategy for Q4 2006 to include Conroe on ALL Intel platforms which you and I both know requires Wave ETS. C'mon man? It's time to be excited! The Army looks like it's all but locked up. The rest of the DOD is well on the way (thanks cm). Enterprise is moving finally on schedule. AND Intel has their sites on the CONSUMER market in 2006!!!!! Dude, loosen that belt up a notch and give some love to Wave management for pulling off something that happens about once every ten years?! Hell, we've waited about as long as is! Jeff

Thanks cslewis!

"8. Today, only business PCs have the TPM 1.2 protection chip built in. With Core 2 Duo, all PCs will be protected. TPM (Trusted Platform Module) protects your passwords, logons, and personal data at a hardware level from hackers, spyware, and identity thieves."
