Adam wants readers to believe that the video posted on October 15. He wants the reader to think that it was the video which caused the big sell-off on October 16. But because Adam is well aware that it didn't post until around January 18, his carefully chosen words really state it's the actual lecture that Linda gave which caused the big sell-off.
If that were truly the case, that would mean that those internal UCLA colleagues who listened to the presentation on October 15, 2015, rushed out, got on their cell phones after Linda Liau's presentation, and told anyone and everyone they knew who held NWBO shares in their portfolio, to SELL the next day.
That day was also, coincidentally, the day options expired...
...so Adam's narrative that it was the video (or the UCLA colleagues) is really ludicrous and Adam knows it.
But if the reader doesn't know that the video posted 3 month after the lecture, and that options expired the very next day after the lecture, Adam's carefully put together narrative will make one think it was instead the video which caused the plunging share price. So he implies it was the video that caused the sell-off while very carefully parsing his words because he knows he can't state that. He is left with having to state it was the "lecture" that caused the decline. But the reader will more than likely miss his sleight of hand.
Notice how Adam doesn't state the date the video was actually uploaded? That leaves the reader thinking it was posted on October 15, 2015. Which is what Adam intended by his carefully chosen words.
Notice how Adam doesn't disclose the actual date it was posted (again - 3 months later around January 18, 2016!)?
So again, to reiterate, in order for Adam's thesis to jell, one has to accept that it was really Linda Liau's UCLA colleagues that initiated the 30% decline on October 16.
Adam, are you worried that the October 16, 2015 30% drop in share price may point back to your short buddies, so you're splashing whatever cold water you can find to try and put out that slow burning fire?
I wonder who will ultimately be the boiling frog here?
