I bought shares of DES, DRW and FVL today for the UBA retirement account.

The account was loaded with cash and even after this month's buying it's still at about 31% cash overall.

I have a pure "international" ETF account that's been doing a lot of buying recently. It consists of small, mid and large cap ETFs in both growth and value plus emerging markets and REITs. It did okay last year but is off to a bumpy start so far in 2016. That portfolio is now down to just 20% cash reserve.

For January, here's the results:

My own market risk indicator is showing far greater potential for gains going out 6 to 12 months than losses.
