All these vocal tricks are great and if well placed can be very effective, but if you don't place them well or you overuse them they become less effective at best and a detriment at worst too your performance.

Even a scream, if it is well placed in a certain area of the song it can actually be very effective, but you better place it right and it better be one time, it can't be overdone, and of course that has to be the right song to do it in. Problem is Shelby and CJ I think it is in there style to scream every song. sad part is alot of their vocals aren't bad, but I think they are gonna continue to do what they do, and that is why I'm not a lover of either of them in my opinion.
