my take on last night's show.......................
..
it was solo night where they sing along with the band (if they so choose)
too many names/faces to post them all but here's some i took note on..
- stephany (yes, with a Y) - she said "like" wayyyyyyyy too much, haha. sang well. reminds me a bit of a young Cher, with the hair and exotic look.
- thomas- messed up but sang well for a mousy singer.
- john wayne- nice look and good voice but was boring. he had no spunk at all. he is a good country singer though.
- then some drama happens. the girl is upset cause she wanted to sing a song about her military mom and put that guilt on the girls that got to pick that song, and they later cave to her and let her sing it. omg. diva in the making.
-Mackenzie (a guy)..... again, he reminds me of John Mayor (love that voice) and great on the guitar. i would buy his music. i like his lower voice the best. the girls will go crazy for him (and some guys, now days, sigh) .... he sang his OWN song and it was really good. the judges loved him.
- tristan- the girl that whined about not getting to get her song she wanted but then got it for putting on the guilt trip.. well, she did good. nice voice.
- sonika- she is always good
- Lee- he did very good
- sara- good too
- jenn- good
- emily- very good.
- malie- great even w/laryngitis. i hope they keep her.
- jessica- wowza!!!! did a very bluesy song, loved it!!
- joshua- bombed, was horrible
- cj- didnt like it. he was off key and yelling the song. (i sound like simon, haha)
- dalton- sadly, he was horrible but fun to watch. he still looks like a colorful chinese cartoon figure. but in a good way. the judges loved it but it was awful.
so... they are put in what i think was 3 groups, in rooms. too hard to keep track of who was who but 2 groups go through and one goes home.
