You totally get it. Yes, there is no way that if LWLG has something so transformational with profound national security interests that the US Govt would allow this tech to fall into another country's hands. Any deal would be blocked.

GIG was not blocked from selling to a Brazilian company. So yes, GIG did not have anything that would have adversely affected the national security of the United States. Does GIG have a retired rear admiral who was at the top levels of the US's national security apparatus at the helm of their company? Does GIG have a who's who of photonics (Lebby & Leonberger), optical computing (Turpin/NSA) & CTOs (Miller/Corning & Leonberger/JDSU) guiding their company?
