I can't imagine what his problem is. I've never had a problem with Advanced Search, even with my old Mac.

There IS a problem, not mine, with advanced search, though. For "prior years" you only get one page of messages, either from the beginning of the year or the end of the year. Bob promised to fix that sometime, but so far it hasn't happened.
