Surfkast, just as 5 bazillion geezers claim to have partied at Woodstock, IHUB is filled with players who boast of loading the [rusty} truck with American Airlines at $2. Do they understand that old posts are still visible?
I've examined what was going on with several famous rebound stocks at their moment of nadir. With almost no exception, the only board chatter was about selling. I did find one guy who bought a bit of AAL almost at the bottom ... and flipped for a tiny profit two weeks later.
IHUBBERS simply don't buy two dollar stocks and hold to $40. They aren't wired that way. At the very bottom deeply troubled stocks are a depressing tomb, not attractive at all to the thrill-craving flippers who inhabit our neighborhood.
