What is the crime here? To be the subject of litigation someone must prove damages. What are you seeing as a basis for such damages and in what amount? Who/what entity has sustained damage as a result of Kistler's having quoted or plagiarized a Chevron PR?

Prior to retirement four years ago, I wrote PR's that were read around the globe. I was often quoted. I never ran into a situation where that was a problem for me or anyone else, for that matter. And it certainly did no harm for the companies I represented.

All I'm getting from this is that BK probably liked something he read and decided to present it as though he was of like thinking. Whether or not he intended to offer it as original material remains to be proved. In any case, I see no reason for Chevron to litigate.

There many things an investor might tap into while in a fit of anger but this one isn't going to be meaningful. And it would absolutely never get to court.?
