Here is my take on the NW acknowledgment.
NW is typically a long term player but because of the recent drsma he has to move in the short term too. He sees a controlling and possibly vindictive CEO manning NWBO's helm (and btw with what happened and knowing the size of NW's what must be high ego forgetting he is a good ole boy she really had few choices other than to show him UP it is caused survival) he realized that he can't just show his longterm card, it renders him impotent when he wears his activist investor hat. So he announces that he wants the ability to sell up to 60% when he wants to, it is a twofold chess move in this ongoing game/battle.saving face and a smart move to take advantage of a price spike. I mean if you know or are expecting a price increase of seeing LL's video wouldn't you want to sell half at a nice profit and hold the other half for longterm gains/growth which is exactly what we will all probably due under the current scenario besides it is a good sword rattler i.e. remember me LP I am still here wielding power in share holdings. It gives him options, the ability to sell in the near future and make a profit on 50% (ok up to 60% to be exact but whose counting) on the good results which were amplified by Linda Liau very recently.
Look at the timing, we discuss the video over the weekend and then this announcement today, that is no coincidence, trust time with that hypothesis.
I look at this as a huge positive. Now if this announcemement came on the day after LP's min-toxic $12.5M funding announcement but with one change....100% of his holdings then I would be bummed. But based not he timing ,that it isn't 100% and the timing of LL's recent video I am extremely pleased.
He could look like a freakin genius to his investors when the stock pops. Remember this stock has been so volatile which he obviously very aware of after his recent purchased and PhaseV's knockdown article he would want to buy low and sell high quickly on a portion. It would be a great positive PR op that would make his ego soar again.
By not announcing 100% is is telling ALL Stockholders that after watching LL's video I believe the stock will pop soon a great news and will get his investment back and more and keep the other half in the stock for up to 10 years as typical for his holdings. I ti spurned and I would be surprised if he wouldn't do this considering how prudent and conservative ehe is.
Remember everything that LP and NW does is put under the microscope and dissected and typically negatively interpreted from a fear perspective. I see nothing negative here and ONLY positive. NW is doing the right thing while taking a jab at LP in doing so, rook to king 2. As LP smiles and plans her next move;)
