Let me know when you compare that to aluminum alloy costs.

Also, the material advantage for Apple is what, exactly, on using LQMT as a case? Stronger, so people have to buy fewer of them over time? Waterproof, so people have to buy fewer of them over time?

See my prior post about the gasket around the iPhone 6/6s. Why pay that for LQMT material when a cheap rubber gasket and much cheaper aluminum is available?

Focus on fundamentals ... they usually tell you what a company is going to do / not do.
