That's all very true and quite possible. I'm a bit confused by what Dr. Liau said regarding the overall study; "The overall cohort has not yet reached it's number of predetermined events" and then "It seems like everyone is living longer than we expected" followed by "Hopefully if the patients didn't get anything the differences would be bigger". This can only be about OS, not PFS. Events are progression or death. The PFS is between the DCVax arm and the Placebo arm. Crossover should not effect the comparison of PFS, only the OS.

There were IA's set at 66% of patients eventing, then 88% eventing, then the final number. I can't see where people living longer than expected would have prevented hitting the IA's unless they also were not progressing.
