I'm with you on all of this, ranger with one exception. I don't believe we are going to hear anything until after this investigation has concluded. That's not to say that AA doesn't have something seriously brewing at this point. I just feel if I'm the company on the other end of this potential massive merger, I personally would more than likely wait until the dust settles - sort of speak - as a precaution. I also hope I'm dead wrong with that assessment which I would have no problem with. In the meantime, I, like you, will take advantage of any dips to load some more. They will be available because I've seen far too many people panic prematurely and surrender their weak hands. They just need to be scooped up by the strong hands.
