Depends if the videocard on your PC can handle multiple outputs.
Modern videocards are capable of using 2 of their 3 outputs (vga, dvi, hdmi) at the same time, enabled via driver software. May need to have adapters to attach to those outputs to the monitor.

If your current videocard only has 1 output then you would likely need another videocard.

Some people even use Chromecast to extend/mirror their desktop, but it results in laggy response.
