You have me miffed.......One does not "buy short. You sell short or you might buy shares that are shorted by another party.

There is nothing on level 2 that prints short sales. Experienced traders may see flags in the pattern, but to my knowledge, that's it.

Remember........ It's better to wish you had bought a
stock, than to wish you hadn't.
