I do not believe NW has any "representative on the board"?

I don't think the general public knows for a fact that NW has some kind of insider info or that he would be subject to a Non Disclosure Agreement or that he is in some way limited from trading equities in NWBO.

If he has no restriction in trading shares, perhaps he could have considered buying some put options "as insurance" for a drop in value of his investment in case SP dropped (which of course it did, substantially). That may have been a smarter move than NW deciding to simply sell some of his NWBO shares .... as this could cause a panic.
