I've had an idea in mind for a while. I'm in the middle of nowhere, but it is not really in the middle of nowhere, airport 2 minutes away (no noise because the flight paths don't go here), and 5 minites from shopping centres in all directions.

So, instead of letting my money rot in the bank, I was thinking of buying up all the land here and get zoning changed to build houses.

OH, I forgot to mention, the road is a dirt road, you have to look long and far to find those in France

So I am at City hall and I ask for the names and phone numbers of the people that own this land, and I show her a picture that the city hall issued about what zones were what.

She says I'm not sure I can help you if you can't be more specific about which piece of land you want.

I said I want all of it

She said she'd mail the info, but out of curiosity, ask why I wanted so much land.

I told her I planned to make it into a garbage dump for the city 10km away......

She should spread the info around and the owners will want to sell as quick as possible
