You ask: Well, where were your hit articles saving investors from his activities?

Me: I wrote several articles during Martin's tenure as CEO of Retrophin raising concerns about his use of Twitter, and more importantly, camouflaged insider sales of Retrophin stock while was telling the public and investors to buy. You can find the stories on TheStreet's web site.

You ask: Where were you when KBIO was skyrocketing, did you tell people to avoid it because you and many of those around you knew he was no good, and that you would not be surprised if Martin was indicted by the SEC?

Me: I didn't write about KBIO mainly because the stock was being written about by everyone else. It's an insignificant company and didn't really interest me. I didn't write about Turing because it's a private company and my focus is on publicly traded companies.

You ask: If your goal is to ferret out crooks, as you claim, why did you not out Martin?

As i showed above, I did raise questions about Martin's actions. I did not know the extent to which he was engaged, allegedly, in criminal acts. Some of these allegations came out through disclosures by Retrophin after Martin was fired, and I did write about those.

You ask: Why were you not vocal about Martin every chance he made a PR as you often do with NWBO?

Me: Asked and answered above, I hope.

I'm always willing to change my thesis about a stock when the facts change. With NWBO, the facts have not changed. They've actually deteriorated over time. I have no ego when it comes to stocks. I don't invest, therefore have no financial conflict. I get paid every two weeks by TheStreet to write about biotech stocks. My compensation is not tied to the direction those stocks move.

Honestly, you're way more conflicted and ego-driven about NWBO than I am. I'm just trying to help you understand the truth of what's going on at NWBO so you can make the best-informed decision about investing in the stock, or not. You can listen to me, or not. If I'm wrong, I'll certainly admit it. I don't believe I will be with NWBO.
