PAIM_Ameriturd charged my account..for their screwup. Here's the emails:
Ameritrade-This a courtesy message to let you know that due to recent reorganization of your PAIM stock, you are now oversold by 4500000 shares. In order to resolve this issue, you will need to buy the shares to cover the position.
My response-This is unacceptable. My sell order for 5,000,000 PAIM shares held in my account was entered on 6/12/06 and was processed by you on 6/23/06 at .0001. The discrepancy just showed up today. If the reorganization was done on 6/21/06, your system should not have allowed the sale. This is not a shortable stock. The error was made by Ameritrade, not by me, and should be corrected by you, not by "another" bogus trade. Please see that it gets corrected by whatever means available to you, but not by a purchase from my account. Thank you.
