First Bayer ForwardFarm launched in Belgium

Sept 11, 2014

The initiative applied to Hof ten Bosch is built upon three basic elements: integrated crop solutions – the combination of high value seeds and chemical and biological crop protection; proactive stewardship to ensure the safe and efficient use of crop protection products for both the user and the environment; and partnerships.

Looks like Bayer just may be in need of PS Targeting to assist in their crop science division, especially since Dupont is now working with them...

remember, flipped PS exists in plants, animals as well as humans and feeding the global nations cost Billions upon Billions....

If the next-generation of treatment of cancer in humans = immunotherapy, maybe the next-generation of treatmeans re: crop science requires PS Targeting as well. Crops must stay healthy and flipped PS can destroy thousands of acres of crops worldwide, causing plant death!

DuPont, Bayer CropScience enter into agreements including LibertyLink corn, soybeans

Dec 15, 2015

Officials with DuPont and Bayer CropScience announced Thursday the two companies will enter into a series of long-term business agreements, including those for LibertyLink corn and soybeans.

The agreements establish cross-licenses that will enable next generation seed solutions and weed and insect control strategies from Bayer CropScience and the DuPont Crop Protection and Pioneer Hi-Bred businesses, according to officials from the companies. The agreements also resolve outstanding legal and patent disputes between the companies in the area of insect control and herbicide safeners.

Within the framework of these agreements, Bayer CropScience grants Pioneer licenses to use the LibertyLink trademark in Pioneer proprietary corn and soybean germplasm. In addition, Bayer CropScience will provide Pioneer with worldwide regulatory support for Pioneer products comprising the LibertyLink trait. The company also enables Pioneer to use the glufosinate-tolerance technology in soybean product development.

In the area of insect resistance, Bayer CropScience provides Pioneer with licenses under its dual Bt patents, with limited rights to grant sublicenses for development of next generation insect resistance management in corn.

As part of the agreements, Bayer CropScience grants DuPont Crop Protection rights to continue to offer its DuPont Q product formulations containing the Bayer herbicide safener isoxadifen. Company officials say these corn postemergence herbicides provide growers with improved crop safety. DuPont also receives rights to offer blends of isoxadifen with certain defined HPPD herbicides and its sulfonylurea herbicides as well as licenses that will enable DuPont to introduce a broad class of future crop protection product offerings.

"These agreements are good news for farmers who will benefit from the cross-licensing of innovative technologies from both companies," DuPont group vice president James C. Borel says in a press release. "DuPont and Bayer have a strong history of working together, and these agreements set the stage for additional collaboration between the two companies."

"Growers will benefit worldwide from new herbicide products, new multi-insect-control and multi-herbicide-tolerant products in corn as well as multi-herbicide-tolerant products in soybeans," Friedrich Berschauer, chairman of the board of management of Bayer CropScience says in a news release. "For Bayer CropScience, the agreements provide an excellent basis to further extend the reach and value capture through royalties for our proprietary biotech solutions."

A number of other cross-licenses on enabling technologies between the two companies also are included in the agreements. Further details of the agreements were not disclosed.

Yes, ALL PLANTS have flipped PS upon stress (freezing temperatures or disease from insects...etc...etc) and lots of flipped PS as crops are destroyed globally.

Glufosinate (also known as phosphinothricin and often sold as an ammonium salt) is a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide with the chemical formula C5H15N2O4P. It irreversibly inhibits glutamine synthetase, an enzyme necessary for the production of glutamine and for ammonia detoxification. Application of glufosinate to plants leads to reduced glutamine and elevated ammonia levels in tissues, halting photosynthesis, resulting in plant death.[1]
