No gap 7.11/7.44 BC of high volume in extended hours. I agree gaps usually fill but one should recognize the reason for the gap. Usually gaps happen on news which brings new investors to the stock how pay up for initial position not knowing which way it will run.Charts in themselves are not predictive only allows one to get an idea of the inclinations of the traders over time. Therefore gaps usually fill then can reverse upwards as the new investors put on second position when the price is back to where it was before the news. This gap was on no news and followed the price progession on very high extended hours volume. The price/ demand equilbrium was not met in regular trading hours Friday. The so called gap was an extention of the process of equalizing the demand/price. In short gaps are usually caused by temporary disruption in demand/price here it was just continuing to satisfy the demand held over from Friday. Could the stock fill that gap sure but not bc of any artificial or short term demand spike because there wasnt any. Today was an extention of demand that was building friday from last weeks Fundamental changes.
