I was referring to the "blinded by greed" comment in that post. As for understanding the bleeding edge..well the bleeding edge spin is referring to was developed and abandoned by Motorola years ago.

That leaves NEAH to find other applications, and while useful they are not the "bleeding edge" , that would refer to developments so far in advance that applications are not yet developed.

This is not the case here, in this case the tech must be ADAPTED and made useful to existing technology, here they must prove to customers that their power source is superior to existing and available sources, whether is in reference to cost per unit, cost of continuous operation ( efficiency ) and cost of fuel.

Another major factor here is the availability of this wondrous fuel, because if it isn't around to power the various devices then it isn't really cheap, its actually useless.

So even if NEAH convinces someone to buy their tech, they also need to be able to provide fuel, just announcing that BASF is the chosen provider of fuel is not enough, someone will have to build a huge distribution infrastructure to ensure fuel is available where it is needed.
