For the cubs he is not nearly as bad of signing as he would of been for some other team where the fan bases expected him to be the savior (That won't be the case here), 1) they have money so it won't stop them from doing other thing. 2) They are ready to win right now. 3) He will not be asked to be the guy in that lineup. You have to understand my anti heyward call is not that he isn't a good player of course he will help, I'm just saying he is not as good of player as the sabermetric tell you he is. He is a player that lies to you in that respect. Having said that they need a guy to play CF and he is here to play CF and he will do it well. I like overall what the cubs have done (I believe Lackey was the move of the FA off season so far). Overall I like that he took less money to come there. I think Zobrist did too. Remember when I made my intial comment there was talks about him getting over 200 million from a team (Before he signed), which I was thought was nut, thing is the cubs needed him, I don't mind overpaying when I feel your overpaying to fix that one whole a team has to be championship bound, I think the cubs have a fanatstic shot to win a championship in 2016, and you should be very excited in my opinion
