If you want to learn about options starting with the basics and going into geeks and strategies please refer to a book titled " Fundamentals of the Options Market" by Michael S. Williams and Amy Hoffman.

It is a great book. I got it for 4 bucks on Amazon, a few years back (it was like new) and read every line and put all the strategies in excel to duplicate the examples in the book. The thing I liked in the book is that it starts from the basics and gives lot of importance to the option geeks, before dealing with strategies. The whole book has 340 pages, including the index at the end.
