Clarification of my misunderstanding of the deal (sale of Maine wind farms assets to Terra Nova Renewable Partners):

the deal included $209M of equity and $578M of debt for an enterprise value of $787M. In other words, SunEdison was able to release $209M of cash and simultaneously extinguish $578M of debt in this single transaction - a move that substantially improves the Company's balance sheet and should put to rest any remaining concerns about liquidity.
