Then why do Engel and Materion - two seemingly conservative, intelligent, successful companies with Fortune 50/100 customers continue to invest so much time and money (particularly, Engel) in this, while Engel now takes the incredibly risky step of introducing their valuable customers, and staking Engel's reputation to those very customers, not just once in June, but a second time now in January?

And, that article's analysis is painted with very broad strokes that does not apply to every situation - even just the long hours thing, for example. You'll never find an employee complain their boss works long hours and is always at the office, but you'll always find them complaining when they say they're always busting their ass, but their boss is never there, doesn't bust their ass like they do, etc. And the article saying "missteps" are essentially OK and a part of learning? Well, then, with all these missteps, LQMT should be wildly successful...without a doubt, no one can extol the "great" management of LQMT when the barometer of success in a for-profit company is making money - not dilution, borrowing and losses, but that article generalizes too much, particularly as it relates to a company like this.

Who isn't frustrated as hell? But therein lies the conundrum, as to why Materion and Engel have appeared to up their involvement, not reduce it, while Materion has to know they're helping out Visser's hated former "partner." Visser can't be too pleased about that, but maybe Materion said, in effect, "Screw him, where else is he going to get his alloy from?" And I've yet to see Husky have any conferences with Visser, but I'll take an Austrian/German manufacturer of machines over a Canadian one any day. Jmho.

And, yes, interesting mention of Yurko. GL.

"Back to work" time - one thing for sure, the only one you can truly count on to affirmatively make money for yourself is the one in the mirror, just like the blame. Sometimes the mirror isn't pretty for any of us, particularly LQMT longs, so far, anyway. I just wonder what Engel sees in the mirror? Peace.
