The truth is this, concerning the chess sets:

The biggest mistake was not recognizing from the off set that LQMT needs to go after volume business.

ERGO, instead of chess sets, which require a minimum of 6 molds to produce (THINK BIG UP FRONT BUCKS), an intelligent management team would have designed the optimum CHECKER for, obviously, a CHESSBOARD.

Only one mold would be required. Now that we can nitride the liquidmetal, we would easily have the two opposing colors. Not only that, the pieces could be HOLLOW, saving greatly on material expense. A further plus is minimum degating.

ONE MOLD versus SIX MOLDS. Folks, managing LQMT RSM is not ROCKET SCIENCE; it is COMMON SENSE.
