Ajax; I agree with you. Cardiologist prescribed Generic Lipitor Atorvastatin. I've had some side effects from it. Muscle aches, back problems. Feel like I need a Chiropractor all the time. Can't really get a good nights sleep too restless. I think its because of the statin.

A friend was taking Crestor and it really did a number on him. His doctor changed him over to Livalo and his problems went away. I'm thinking of changing myself or dropping taking the statin altogether. I'll live with the 10% chance of a Cardiac event in the next ten years if I don't take it and take only EPA.

Good suggestion.
