If you use all the hydrogen in a kilogram of methanol, you get 4.19 kilowatt-hours of energy, while the hydrogen in a kilogram of formic acid gives 1.45 kilowatt-hours."

As soon as the 8 year old drawbacks are removed, someone will likely step up to the table to license Mantra's formic acid tech? Then an 8-k (definitive agreement) will be filed for everyone to read, and compare to what's happening in the hydrogen fuel cell sector.

Contrary to what Mr. AAA would have you believe, none of this is going to go to market overnight. It took Apple 18 years to become an overnight success.

Anyone know what the energy comparison is between syngas and formic acid?
