I'll try to find some articles to read but currently Military drones are changing from being a surveillance asset to becoming an offensive weapon. I have no idea if they are in use yet but they are trying to equip some of the drones with the 'hellcat' missile system.

I'm sure the day will come where they'll try to not only be surveillance and offensive but they should be able to locate explosive devices etc. Now that's valuable.
