What's clear is:
*) publications claiming huge MSFT connections and announcements were based on false information.
*) the deal with DB isn't a sure thing as some publications claimed.
*) the initial delay in the announcement wasn't due to good news coming as some publications would like to imply.

When will "investors" learn?

Being "wrong" has been extremely profitable.
