Not new to this stock and message board, just new to contributing to it. As you can see, this is my 2nd post to my acct...I used my 1st to announce a short I intended to do on a "certain other bio" ?? After doing so, I realized that I do not need to stoop to their level and that our science and CEO will no doubt rise to the occasion!!
I have been long with AVXL since .33/pps and intend to stay that way! Nothing derogatory has changed with this company since I was introduced to it, so I am confused with a number of our current/prior share holders who had pledged their alliance to AVXL, preached to "hang on to your shares...don't let them steal your shares!", "only invest what you can afford to loose", "In Messling we Trust", the promises go on.....It was disturbing to see these "loyal investors" sell when the going got tough. We either are INVESTORS and believe in this company, the science , and the CEO...or just a TRADER. I realize that there are many traders out there, that this is what they do, that's perfectly fine...but when people portray themself as an investor holding a large share position, consistently making those above mentioned remarks, and then bails on our stock when we are obviously under attack is just contributing to pulling our pps down and hurting this company! Pump-n-dump??
I realize that there are messages on this board that need to be taken with a grain of salt, but I strongly believe that there is a good portion coming from sincere investors and who in return have built a strong comorotity here. This has been a lonnngggg, difficult week to endure, but have used this as an opportunity to add to my position. For someone who can be spooked pretty easily, I have never once considered selling any of my position..and I'm sure many of you are right there with me. Coming off such an unusual week, let's all stay assured that we are in great hands as investors, and victims of this terrible disease will have some relief coming their way!!
