VW seeks $21.5B in short-term bridge financing, Bloomberg reports
Volkswagen is seeking as much as $21.5B in short term bridge financing from banks to show it has adequate liquidity to handle the emissions cheating scandal, Bloomberg reports, citing two people familiar with the matter. The car maker does not need the financing at the moment and is seeking extra funds just for the cushion, the report says
