Let's take your argument in a slightly different direction. Say another manufacture decided to produce the better cell. Now the cell you are producing is no longer wanted by the market and your company becomes a foot note in history.
I sure the manufacture of the buggy whip had the same philosophy as you and look where they are today.
If the cell does what the SLTD says it does it would propel a average run of the mill manufacturer to "THE MANUFACTURER".
