Feuerstein was wrong about Avanir and is wrong about Anavex
here is the background on Avanir:
On Sept. 15, 2014, after AVNR rose 61% in a day to over $10 a share, Feuerstein slammed the company based solely on his opinion that its product which was being tested for Alzheimer's agitation, consisted of "over-priced cough syrup" (and was therefore a sham). This despite the fact that essentially the same product (branded as Neudexta) had been FDA approved and was already on the market for the treatment of Pseudobulbar Affect. He disparaged Neudexta for its slow sales and not being covered by most insurance plans. Despite his article AVNR never looked back. It rose to $13, then $14, and then was bought out for $17 a share by Otsuka of Japan. This happened within three months of his article. He later apologized for being wrong about Avanir. He could also be wrong about Anavex.
A bit on the science:
Ironically AVNR has a partial drug like 273 ...it is a sigma 1 agonist but 273 is also a muscarinic recpetoragonist as well as sigma 1 which results to date show more effectiveness than the AVNR drug... So what is AF and the cartel doing going after AVXL after he just got burnt on AVNR and AVXL appears to have a much better drug but on the same science platform as AVNR ....did he not learn from AVXR ...or did AVNR wet his appetite for sigma science that he knows works only too well...
Another note here, it is interesting that AVNR sold to offshore ...was this because AF cartel makes BP locally hold off hesitantly (are they also frightened by the cartel rhetoric to some extent)... The cartel knows they can not only manipulate retail but also BP....how...make them hesitant to make a purchase that media will criticize fuelled by the cartel) I think Missling already has planned for this and has more than one ace in his back pocket.....North American BP better be careful, or the same thing will happen again...
