Placebo effect minimal and positive trend of data due to 273:
Every one has to do their own DD and for me the Placebo effect was one I felt confident in but I had not confirmed it with my own DD. Today I scratched it off the list and do not feel Placebo effect is the reason for our positive data trend. Luckily lots of AD trials have been run with control arm with placebo... Contrary to what many have said on MB's none I could find even showed the placebo effect above base line in trials. So for starters this is very important and this data is out there for anyone to research and find.. Then if you take the body of data on all varied tests for AVXL, it is too positive and varied to lend any credence to the Placebo effect...and additionally the past Cog-Stat results indicate strongly against the presence of placebo effect...Lastly, I have my own sources of professional independent opinion (from two sources) PHD's with trial experience) who gave their opinion that the placebo effect is very unlikely in the positive data of AVXL.... I will not elaborate on the above but you have the same info as I do now, on this important aspect of the science...and please do your own DD to verify what I have stated here before making investment decisions...
