There is a history of publications writing about this company and making claims that have always turned out to be false. Some examples are:

Claiming that there will be no reverse splits.
Claiming there was no need for additional capital at various points in time.
Claiming there were deals done that could not be announced due to client demands.
Claiming there were deals done that could not be announced due to security.
Claiming there were deals done that were not significant enough to announce.
Claiming share price rises would happen by a shareholders' meeting.
Claiming that Microsoft would announce a big project with Wave Systems.
etc

Not a single one of these claims were true so it wouldn't surprise me if various publications continued their false claims
