My sister is a PhD scientist at a major pharmaceutical compant. She is VERY conservative and circumspect. Thinks and acts like a scientist. Have no idea where she got that from as hardly describes moi.

She says the for what this phase was intended for it certainly deserves to be moved forward to the next stage. The things it does not show were not designed to be measured and only optimized data can show this. Note if this drug suceeds she is basically out of a job yet she is fair enough to scientifically opine it has earned the right to move forward and if a big pharma partners up with Anavex that is a BIG DEAL.

For what's it worth that she did NOT say that the drug is useless and shows no promise is shocking to me as that is her usual response.
