U.S. House oks oil, gas offshore drilling bill, heads to U.S. Senate-Dow Jones

A proposal to allow more oil and natural gas drilling in federal waters won approval from the U.S. House late Thursday, 232-187, despite Bush administration concerns that the measure would cost the federal government billions of dollars, Dow Jones reported.
