I do get it.
In fact I served on a IEEE standards board.

So maybe I didn't get my point across with the "EXCEL" example. But hey! These are WAVOIDS.

KEY FACTS:
(1)The TCG OPEN STANDARD can be used by any company.
(2)MSFT has a way of taking over, if there is money to be made.
