We could have done another 3 minis in the time that has passed. Before everyone replies with the old "why schedule a mini #8 when a determination hasn't been made on #7 yet?"

The reason is obvious: it will bring this ot resolution qucker and may be the better path at this point.

I don't think anyone can dispute that, especially in hindsight.
