If you had done adequate DD on the MVTG ERC, you would know that methanol has never been a major target product of the MVTG ERC since methanol is a very cheap low cost commodity already, thus not a high value profit target like the 30 billion dollar per year Syn Gas market.

That is not the case with formic acid, formates and syn gas as MVTG has stated repeatedly, going back 2009 for formic acid and formates.
